Avant Hair & Cosmetics, a busy Aveda Concept salon, proudly celebrates 40 years of stellar service in Downtown Minneapolis. We are conveniently located inside the LaSalle Plaza Building on the skyway level. We offer a wide range of services for men and women – haircuts, hair color, texture services, event styles, makeup, and facial waxing.

Requests:
- Must have a valid MN Cosmetologist License
- Available to work Tuesday-Saturday
- Attend all advanced trainings, salon meetings, and education as required (This may involve weekends, early morning, or after work hours)
- Assist in keeping the salon and one’s station clean and sanitary as required by the MN State Board of Cosmetology
- Commit to Avant’s yearlong Advanced Training Program: Haircutting, Hair Color, Hair Styling, Makeup, and Facial Waxing. Advanced training is self-paced and determined by your level of skill and desire.
- Work with Leadership to set goals and track performance
- Responsible to keep current on all product knowledge and trends
- Be a team player with a positive attitude!

Guest Service Coordinator:
If you are energetic, both detailed and team-oriented, love a fast paced environment and would like to join our front desk team, please reply. This is a part-time position with the hours being Tuesday-Saturday.
Responsibilities include answering telephones, scheduling appointments, product knowledge, light housekeeping, professional presentation, and great customer service.
